I believe that a child's relationship with their parents and family creates the framework for future success and fulfillment.
I believe that everyone deserves the same opportunities and access to success.
I believe in teamwork and that together we can ensure every child feels empowered and accepted as who they are.
Kaci-Ann Phillips, B.A
My goal is to help parents and children build a relationship of mutual connection and understanding, while working together to ensure quality of life. I want to see every child be successful and I want to help their parents access the skills they already have, so they can be the best guide for their child. I will develop a personalized program for your family that gives you the confidence you need to feel empowered as your child's guide.
Through my work I have seen families struggle with various aspects of an autism diagnosis. These struggles are unique to each situation and I will be there to support you and help you while you navigate this new journey. I understand the fear and uncertainty you feel, and want to make sure that you feel supported and confident in your ability as.a parent.
I began working with children with autism is 2010 when I became a volunteer ski instructor with Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks. This experience inspired me to continue working with individuals on the spectrum after graduating from Thompson Rivers University. I am still involved with Adaptive Sports, and work as a behaviour interventionist. I have experience in various settings that include the home, community, daycares, school, and group homes.
I have an adventurous soul, and the spirit of a homebody. In my spare time I can be found chasing the snow with my skis, searching for a new hike, or curled up reading a book.
